NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is the political action leader of the pro-choice movement in Colorado. NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado works in the following areas: - Grassroots Organizing

Mission Statement: The mission of NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is to develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive health choices, including preventing unintended pregnancies, bearing healthy children and choosing legal abortion. There are three primary entities of NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado: - NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado, Inc., a 501 (c)(4), oversees the organization’s daily operations and runs the programs which build our political power.
- NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado Foundation, a 501 (c)(3), is the tax-exempt entity that supports educational programs that promote reproductive choices.
- NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado PAC, the Political Action Committee of NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado, helps to guide the organization in crafting its electoral strategy to elect pro-choice candidates in state elections.
Statewide Membership: NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado has about 30,000 supporters statewide and maintains a list of more than 100,000 identified pro-choice voters across the state. Funding Sources: As a membership-based organization, NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is over 85% dependent on individual donations to support our programs. Funds are raised through our annual Choice Celebration and Auction, major donors, membership drives and other events. |
