Thank Colorado Lawmakers for Their Leadership in Advancing Women's Health
The Colorado General Assembly wrapped up the Session with an affirmative statement calling on policymakers to advance women's health. The Senate approve Senate Joint Resolution 31 (Boyd, Borodkin), Emphasizing prevention first in reproductive health care to reduce unintended pregnancy, by a 23-11 vote; the House approved SJR 31 by a vote of 39-24. Simple: While radical anti-choice activists attack a woman's right to choose, it's up to Coloradans like you to tell legislators that they must represent all of their constituents' interests by protecting and advancing women's health by supporting common-sense measures that prevent unintended pregnancy without denying women of their fundamental right to choose and to receive safe medical care. We cannot afford to let anti-choice activists have the last word!
