Writing op-eds or letters to the editor in your local papers to make sure women’s health, the right to choose, and reproductive rights and health care stay foremost in voters minds and the minds of elected officials. Your neighbors, friends and colleagues may not understand this issue as well as you do, so whatever you can do to educate your community is essential.
Meeting with your elected officials – both state and federal – in the coming months in your community.Both activities are extremely important in light of the Supreme Court’s decision to turn its back on women’s health by upholding the Federal Abortion Ban. We need to let elected officials know we won’t stand for any more restrictions on reproductive rights and health care in Colorado, so they shouldn’t even think about introducing or supporting anti-choice measures next year!
