Choose Justice: Campaign to Protect Roe
It's official: Supreme Court Justice David Souter, one of the four liberal-leaning justices on the bench, will retire at the end of the court session this summer. The nominee President Obama selects to replace Justice Souter will determine the fate of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision and the right to choose: An anti-choice nominee swings the Court against Roe; a pro-choice nominee keeps the tenuous 4-4 split that's broken by a swing vote on a case-by-case basis. It doesn't get more important than this - it is critical for President Obama to select a qualified nominee who supports the American values of individual liberty and privacy.
