What's Your Story? Got a personal story about your reproductive health care needs not being met? Tell us about it! NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is creating a “story bank” of real-life examples to demonstrate the need to enact responsible, pro-choice policies that empower women and their families to prevent unintended pregnancy, bear healthy children, or access safe, legal abortion. Some examples: · Your health insurance doesn’t cover pregnancy… or you had to pay a lot of your pregnancy costs out-of-pocket to meet your deductible before your health insurance kicked in · Your health insurance doesn’t cover birth control · A pharmacy or pharmacist refused to fill your prescription for birth control · You couldn’t get a tubal ligation – or perform one – because you were at a Catholic-owned hospital · You felt unsafe entering a women’s health clinic because of anti-choice protesters · You were denied health insurance because you had fertility treatments or a c-section or a healthy pregnancy or…? So, what's your story? |
