•	Almost 500,000 women are in need of contraceptive supplies and services. Of these, half are in need of publicly supported contraceptive services.
•	Over 87 percent of counties have no abortion provider; at least 26 percent of women live in these counties.
•	Over 10 percent of women ages fifteen to forty-four have incomes under the federal poverty level and 18 percent do not have private health insurance or Medicaid.

Lack of access to affordable services, along with lack of knowledge of what services are available, limits many women's reproductive health care choices. This is particularly true for young women, women with limited incomes and women living in rural areas.

NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado's Access Project strives to promote and protect ALL reproductive choices. Your Choices: A Guide to Reproductive Health Care Services in Colorado is an education and referral tool that includes current information about birth control, abortion, adoption, prenatal care and parenting resources. Our extensive research included surveys and phone calls to hundreds of health care providers and community organizations around the state.

This publication is a must-have for health care providers, public health professionals, high school based health centers, university/college health centers, sexual assault/domestic violence prevention groups, teen pregnancy prevention groups, youth organizations, social service providers and anyone who is interested in learning more about their options.
